Before You Begin

Here are a few quick tips before you start your decorating adventure:

  • Find a comfortable, well-lit workspace with room to spread out.
  • Lay out your cookies, icing, and included tools before pressing play.
  • Keep a slightly damp paper towel nearby to wipe tips or fingers as you go.
  • Remember — you can pause or rewind the video anytime and decorate at your own pace.

What You’ll Need

  • Paper towel
  • Scribe (included) — handle carefully, it’s sharp
  • Piping bags (red, orange, and black are shared colors)
  • 6 cookies per decorator
  • Piping practice sheet (scan your QR code for more sheets)

Tip: Set up everything before you hit play for a smoother decorating experience.

Storage & Freshness

Cookies: Store at room temperature (not in the fridge) for up to 2 weeks. If you’re not decorating right away, place both cookies and icing in a sealed freezer bag or airtight container and freeze. When you’re ready, remove them about 3 hours before decorating to bring to room temperature.

Icing: Keeps in the fridge for up to 7 days or can be frozen for longer storage. Once thawed, gently massage each bag to reincorporate the icing if it has separated.

How It Works

  1. Press play and follow along step-by-step as I guide you through outlining, flooding, and detailing each cookie.
  2. Pause as needed — there’s no rush. Make it a cozy night in or a fun afternoon with friends or family.
  3. Start with the piping practice sheet if you’d like to warm up. You can scan your QR code for additional printable sheets.
